King Arthur is a famous character in old British stories. Many people love his exciting adventures. He lived a very long time ago in a majestic place called Camelot. Today, his story is known all over the world.
Arthur became king because of a magic sword. He pulled this sword from a big stone. No other man could do this. A wise sorcerer named Merlin helped the young king with his magic and advice.
King Arthur was a brave sovereign. He fought against bad enemies to protect his beautiful kingdom. His knights sat at a big Round Table. They sat there because they were all equal and friendly to each other.
We do not know if Arthur was a real person. His life is a famous legend today. People still read these wonderful stories about monsters, magic, and knights.
